I wanted it to be more about the artistic area of Dorsoduro, but it's not to say the guide wasn't wonderful and taught us about Venice in general but she had one mission "avoid the tourist traffic" and sadly as tourist I feel like that took away from what we wanted on this day of our trip. I learned very little that I had already read in my Rick Steve's so I had hoped for an insiders view to this area. Thank goodness we bought Guggenheim tickets. The line was long and online ticket purchase was a must!
