Well?!?!?! I honestly... I must express that I consider the place to be very beautiful and majestic in every way. It did not leave me excited I have invited them to No return, in particular the gardens are extensive and I consider them poorly supervised. I will hardly visit Versailles again in my personal opinion. But the city of Paris, the Parisians are incredible and I appreciate their attention, but the management of the museums and monuments is very focused on the economic aspect and they have taken away the emotion and romanticism from what I always dreamed. Great tour guide and best way to get in and around Versailles. As a tip, pack a picnic lunch to take to the gardens. Rent a golf cart to see all of the gardens; we had about 3 hours to explore. City of Versailles is also very pretty.

Guides were knowledge and friendly. The skip the line isn’t truly skip the line, but it did save us time, but we did wait for like 40 minutes to get in. Versailles was crowded and overwhelming, not the tour’s fault, but I wish they would come up with a better system to stagger crowds and have people arrive with “Windows” of time the way other large museums do. In the future, I’d skip Versailles for another day at the Louvre which gets just as many visitors but does a better job of handling it, plus it’s much more spread out. The gardens at Versailles were the standout. On a nice day I could have just done that honestly!

The tour guide was really wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and told some great stories about the palace. It is a quick trip which is what we were looking for but you would probably be better to plan a full day there as the palace and gardens are very large.
