    Did the VIP/ open bar option, and yea, it was a bit pricey, butttt the experience was wonderful! You get to be in front row for everything and get wonderful service. The private tour with captain Steven was educational and great to know how the steamboat works. The jazz band was great! Especially while going down the Mississippi River drinking some drinks 🍹

    Gina!!! Although the whole night was amazing Gina went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! I highly recommend the VIP package the experience is definitely worth it!!! I can’t wait until we can do this again!

    Fantastic cruise on the Mississippi and great service throughout. Captain’ tour was a highlight and the food was fabulous. Really enjoyed the Dixieland Jazz band, quite a treat throughout the evening. Highly recommend the private tour!

    This cruise got off to a dodgy start as there was little organisation in the waiting area. We got directed to two different places and it wasn't until we were actually boarding that we got introduced to our host. This meant we were not on board as early as we could have been, and missed out on some less busy time on the ship. Once we were on board, our host, Marlon, was excellent. He explained what was going to happen during the evening. Most of what he said was correct. There was a table reserved for us where the band was playing, and another table in the restaurant. Marlon would tell us once the first restaurant sitting had got their food so we could go down to the buffet when it would be less busy. This was correct to start and we had a couple of drinks whilst listening to the band, which was great. We then went downstairs to the restaurant and had a nice meal with easy access to the buffet. Marlon was attentive and brought us more drinks during the meal. We then wanted to go back to watch the band for a while but the table we had used there was no longer available. There was then a tour of the boat, into areas where there was open access, apart from at the very rear near the paddle. We were able to get really close to this which was quite an experience. Arriving back at the restaurant table there was a gift bag waiting, which had our souvenir photos, a CD of the band, and a couple of nice Natchez wine glasses. Overall the evening was good fun, interesting and we did not go short of drinks. Big shout out to Marlon as he looked after us all evening.

    Please arrive between 5:35 - 5:45pm to receive the whole VIP experience, such as early boarding and front row reserved seating for the Dukes of Dixieland! Pose for a photo as you board -- you'll receive a print as a souvenir of this exclusive experience that can only be booked through Viator. Uniformed ship staff will greet you with a Champagne cocktail. Then, follow your guide on an exclusive private tour of the boat. Feel free to ask questions and take photos as you tour the magnificent riverboat.
