Every part was memorable because our guide, Matthew, was the best ever!!!! We hit all of the key points in Normandy. Just the right amount of time in each place.

All and all. The trip was fine which is the reason I am giving the rating I am. However, there is room for improvement. First, I think Viator needs to be able to show us the operator of the tour as there were so many tour groups at the location that my father and I didn’t know which vehicle to get into. Second, our tour guide was very lovely and nice but she lacked the knowledge and resources of what I saw from other operators. For example, I think it would have been better with visual aids which some other operators had. Additionally, my tour group had lots if questions which she wasn’t able to answer.

Point Du Hoc was very meaningful to us. Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend him as your guide.

We just had the most amazing day touring all of the D-Day points of interest. Our tour guide Matt was passionate, knowledgeable, energetic and entertaining. One of the best small group tours we’ve ever experienced. The day ended at the stunningly beautiful American cemetery where we witnessed the lowering of the flags and taps. It was the perfect finish leaving us with perspective and respect for our fallen heroes. Thank you Matt! Would give 10 stars if it were an option!

We spent a spectacular January day with Matt Turner as our guide touring the memorial sites of Normandy. His knowledge was very impressive and his presentation made it entertaining and informative. Our full day tour with Matt significantly exceeded our expectations. We visited Pont du Hoc, Utah Beach, Saint-Mere-Eglise, Angoville au Plain, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. Beyond describing the facts of military strategies pertaining to each site Matt has done extensive research to be able to describe the human side of D-Day an Normandy in general, including anecdotes about both German and Allied troops. Very informative, enjoyable, and emotional. I can't imagine a better guide than Matt
