We booked a full day tour for just Obidos and Nazare with Go and See tours. It was a wonderful day. Hugo our guide was so friendly and accommodating. Letting us take extra time when we needed it. I highly suggest this method of visiting these villages as parking there is a nightmare and he was able to drop us off close in. So convenient.

This was an excellent tour with a first-rate driver/guide, Marco. Because the hotel desk had told Marco that I needed a cane to get around, he had gone to the trouble of securing a van for our day because it would be easier to get into and out of than a car, and he had even brought along a stool to help me climb in and out. His upbeat commentary and personal anecdotes throughout the day were delightful. He took us all around the city, showed us all of the major sites we had read about. Because it was a Monday we could not walk around inside some of the public places, so he used the time instead to drive us across the bridge for a great seafood lunch and a view back across to Lisbon from the statue of Christ. This was a wonderful day, and the very fair price made it a great value as well. VERY highly recommended.

We hired this company for three days in a row for full day tours each one of them, every day was awesome not only they know a lot of the places that they take you but they are responsible, I have 4 children and safety driving its my most concern, the firs day the driver/tourguide showed up with car seats and booster seats (that I completely forgot to request) so from there I was happy, then neither of the drivers never used the phone while driving and to me that was the most important (and I have hired private driving companies in the past and they always at some point or always use the phone while driving 😳) the drive was smooth and the all the 3 days days were very much enjoyable😊!!!. Portugal was our last stop from our Europe vacation and hiring them was truly the cherry on top, we felt welcomed every place they took us it was amazing even places that were their "favorite" and showed us thing and tips that if you go by yourself you might not get to know. Definitely will use them again, highly recommended.

יום לאחר הזכייה באורוויזיון זכינו אישתי ואני בסיור ממקומי (בעל החברה) חביב ואוהב ישראל. היה תענוג לקבל הסברים מזוית מקומית עם טיבול פורטוגזי. גם אטרקציות היסטוריות, גם אטרקציות קולנריות וגם המדריך אטרקציה בזכות עצמו. נאמר לי שכל המדריכים בחברה גם מסוגו - הוא עצמו בוחר אותם. ממומלץ בחום רב --- It was the very first time that we visited Lisbon, we followed the advice of the concierge of our hotel and booked a full day guided tour with Go and See Tours. We booked a group tour but we were lucky to get a private one instead. It seems that the groups tours were filling up quickly and the owner of Go and See Tours did not want to turn us down and showed up with his Jeep and gave us a private tour - at no extra charge. I'm not sure what we enjoyed more, the attractions of beautiful Lisbon or Jorge's company. It really felt like a close relative giving you a tour. And I must admit, by the end of the tour, Jorge felt like family. Though Jorge does not possess perfect English (nor do I for that matter), he was articulate, passionate and colourful. A lovely man indeed. We got to visit Lisbon's gems and secrets with detailed explanation from a local perspective. One can read the facts in wiki but only a local can give you the colours and a unique angle. In addition to the historical landmarks, we got a real taste of the culinary ones as well.. Pastries, delicious local sea food for lunch and afternoon Ginja in Alfama. Jorge also tailored the tour to our mindset and interest, he was not rigid when we asked a detour to see other attraction off the scheduled ones, even if it resulted in extending the tour by a couple of hours.. As a somewhat experienced traveller, I do very much appreciate that and I don't take it for granted. Thank you Jorge! I whole heartedly recommend Go and See Tours, my wife and I were infected with their love and passion of Lisbon.
