On the way back from the Northeast, the stop at the Gorreana tea factory allows you to stroll through the stunning plantation, photograph, taste and learn everything about tea production in the Azores. Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeiroes
Ex-libris in the Northeast region! An old area of water mills converted into an enchanting natural park where you can find the beautiful waterfall "Véu da Noiva". Here you will have access to changing rooms, a café or a handicraft shop where you can buy your souvenir.

Lagoa das Furnas
Stop at Lagoa das Furnas where you will find the chapel of Nossa Srª das Vitorias, unique in its Gothic style. Around the lagoon there is a set of wooden statues that will provide fun photographs.
Vila Franca do Campo
Visit what was the first capital of São Miguel, destroyed in 1522 with a break at Vila Franca Marina where you can have your coffee in the place where the typical and unique "Vila Queijadas" are produced
Caldeira das Furnas
