    Overall not worth the money paid. Great to see the volcano and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The only other plus point was that it included hotel pick up and drop off. Negatives were it felt like we spent all day either on the bus or in a cafe. Picked up and drove for around an hour to our first stop for 20mins… unfortunately it was a really small place, and the amount of people there meant after queuing to use the restrooms it was straight back on the bus with no time to look around. Second stop was ok, only 5-10 mins to walk and see different rock formations and take some photos. We then visited the visitor centre where we spent about an hour, the first 15mins spent watching a documentary video about the volcano, before a break for refreshments in the cafe. We then drove a bit further to another cafe/restaurant for food and drinks spending an hour or so here. Finally we then drove to the last stop of the cable cars. Unfortunately, whilst we knew this wasn’t included in this trip, we hadn’t realised we should have booked tickets in advance. Upon revisiting the activity details, it did mention this in the finer details section which we clearly missed, and it was sold out on the day. This was a massive disappointment as we then spent 1.5 hours hovering around in hot temperatures with small children and elderly parents, sitting in yet another coffee shop unable to do anything else. It would be nice if the link to purchase the cable car ride was an option in the checkout process instead of having to send a message afterwards as this would have been clearer. Putting that aside since that was an extra cost anyway, the rest of the day was ok but not worth the money paid. There was 6 of us in total, including 2 elderly parents aged 68 and 73, along with 2 children aged 5 and 9 months. My 5 year old enjoyed seeing the volcano, but otherwise we spent all day either on the coach, feeling travel sick or sat in cafes. We were picked up at 8am and returned to the hotel at 5pm. Wouldn’t recommend, and wish we had looked into sorting a trip to the volcano ourselves separately. If it was the same price or similar to drive straight to the volcano, cable cars up and back, it would have been worth it. The rest could be removed

    Teide Cable Car is an option on this tour. Travelers who choose to ascend on the cable car must reserve an additional ticket for it. Please be informed that a cable car can be shut for many reasons like weather conditions, maintenance, etc. In that case, we'll continue our tour and spend a little more time on other stops.
