Philippe, our guide, was great. We actually stayed in Normandy for a few days and he was with us each day. He made the history come alive.

We took a private tour in October 2023 with three people. Our guide Phillipe was amazing. His knowledge of the area and history is unparalleled. The van was extremely comfortable and luxurious. The restaurant we went to for lunch was delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Normandy from Paris.

Each time we visit France we always call on Best of France Tours. They are professional, extremely knowledgeable and always have a "surprise" site or stop on any tour we've taken. Our tour of Normandy Beaches with Phillipe was extraordinary. My future son in law was with us on his first trip to France and a WWII history buff. He was so impressed with all the new information and uniqueness of the various sites and monuments on the tour. Phillipe has been in the tour business over 20 years and it shows! He knew many of the people at various restaurants and historical privately owned sites and took us a little "off the beaten path" in some areas. Their Mercedes van pick up from our hotel with drives to the sites was prompt and comfortable Do yourself a favor and book with Best of France!

Phillip gave us a great day. Lots of local knowledge as we traveled. A great history lesson at the beaches. Great lunch at a sea side cafe.

Absolutely amazing experience. Christian was the greatest. This trip brings history to life in a way no movie could show.

Our day tour with Phillipe from Best of France Tours was amazing. As a family of 6 (with 4 teenagers), Phillipe kept the trip engaging and meaningful. Phillipe was also flexible and allowed us to revisit Omaha Beach one more time as well as letting us visit a gothic church along the way. If you have an extra day in Paris, I highly recommend you booking this trip. It was well worth the money! And we would definitely book with Phillipe again and maybe go on the 2-day tour he offers to the area.

Christian, our driver and guide, was fabulous. He is quite knowledgeable about the D-Day events. He is also charming, friendly and funny. We really enjoyed our day with him at Normandy.

We took this historic tour with our guide Frederic Meunier. It was a wonderful day because Frederic spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable of the history and the area around Normandy. It was a pleasure to be on this tour with Frederic as he had a lot of interesting facts to share and took us to enjoy a wonderful lunch in a local restaurant. We would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to learn about the Normandy landing beaches and World War 11.

Frederic was our guide. He picked us up in a comfortable Mercedes van, was knowledgeable, personable and has very clear English! This was a bucket list trip for one man in our group who was not disappointed! Being in the area really brings history alive and it is wonderful to see the beautiful setting the cemetery is in. If it rains you can always spend time in the Visitor Center. Thanks to the brave men who landed and fought in Normandy that D-Day!

Philippe was an excellent guide. He was most informative. Each stop came with extra stories and recommendations of outside sources to learn even more. He was engaging and friendly. He was an excellent driver. The restaurant he took us for lunch was delicious. We had an amazing day that was worth every penny. Highly recommend!
