Dr. Johnson's House
We explore the life of Johnson, Boswell and Hodge the cat. We look at his contribution to the English dictionary and how he helped create a literary society and circle in London.
Blackfriars
We look at remnants of the 13th century Monastery and where Shakespeare's playhouse was and where Shakespeare lived. We discuss some of the plays and other sites with Shakespeare connections in the City of London.
St. Paul's Cathedral
This is really the launch point for a discussion about the many writers in the area - Donne, Milton, More, Keats, Pepys, Dickens, Sissay, JK Rowling, Beckett, More, Fry, TS Eliot and many more......there are lots more fascinating twists and turns and alleys and byways on the walk I hope you can join
