Always dreamed of Disney as a child but my parents never had the money. I finally took my family including three children. Walt Disney is rolling in his grave if he would spend a day in any of the parks. Once he got through the crowds including obese people on scooters racing to the front of lines only to disembark with tall slushies onto the rides, and fake disabled family entourages where entire families go to the front of the line because of one actor, he would have to deal with transgender characters, diverse incorrect character portrayals, and endless lineups. If the Disney management and board dont recognize their ways soon, the park will suffer. My friends refuse to go at all.

Magic is gone. Day one, animal kingdom, long lane, day two, magic kingdom, boring plus long waiting, more like shopping center. Day three, Epcot, long waiting, we were waiting for frozen ever after ride for two hours, suddenly they told us technical issues. Simply, they told us to come back later and wait in lane again. They could just give us a sticker or lightning pass for that single ride. Basically, they don’t care you customers, Disney has millions of you each day. Day 4, which is today, Hollywood studio, we decided not to go, we choose to abandon ticket, and simply go to universal studio. Because of my work, my family move to different states every 3-5 years. We went amusement parks a lot. Seaworld, LEGOLAND, six flags. I have no issues with any other parks before. First time, Disney and last time Disney. Overall experience is not good at all.

Disney has LOST its magic. Queuing 1-3 hours isn’t fun for a 5 mins ride. The price to enter, food and drinks is a ripe off. In America, you’d expect English to be spoken but the entire place is a foreign environment with Spanish being the primary language. Great disappointment, never again.

We stayed for a 2 week holiday at the start of August. It was just amazing. Stayed onsite at the Coronado Springs Hotel. We made full use of the Disney bus transport getting to our chosen park of the day for early entry and rope drop. This is a must. One morning in MK we did all the mountain rides within 1.5hrs. Get Genie+. It is well worth it, it saves SO much time and you need the time to enjoy the parks and just soak it all in. You also get time to que for character photos, have relaxed food breaks and still get in rides. PLAN: Its sounds silly but take some time beforehand to plan each day. Its then easier to relax in park not having to worry about missing out on something.

Last trip was in January, 2022, and I was pretty disappointed. Parks were littered and staff were pretty surly, as a whole. There were notable exceptions but, for me, it's the Cast Members that can make or break a trip. This trip was great! Great strides in the staffing of Cast Members and they were unfailingly polite and helpful! On the Guest side, also a great improvement. So many helpful folks really made the trip so much more fun. My only complaint (more of a question) was the large number of infants and very small children attending. Way too hot for the small ones and they won't even remember the trip! Not fun being in a bus with exhausted, sunburned, screaming tots and parents trying to hold on to strollers, etc. Maybe the parents should wait and save $ for a few years and really knock their socks off with a trip they can really enjoy and remember for the rest of their lives. Also, it's always expensive here, so budget what you think and add another 25 percent!

Not the Disney you grew up with. Time to pull the plug. This place went to hell and is loving the flames.

If you are going to Disney World, be prepared to spend money if you want a decent experience. I think time is more valuable at Disney. The parks are moderately or heavily crowded. I purchased the new genieplus and individual lightning lanes. I had no issue getting on the virtual queues at 7am. But I did need to do it first thing. You do need to purchase genieplus at all parks every day except for Animal Kingdom. I also bought genieplus for Animal Kingdom and had no regrets since it helped for doing the safari in the morning and a few other rides without waiting in line or getting better seats for the shows. Food will be expensive. You likely should sign up for the Disney credit card if you will be there for 4 or more days to get the dining discount. If you are trying to do as much as possible, then you will be eating on site. There are decent restaurants, but they are not cheap due to inflation. The Disney Dining Plan offering will return around January 9, 2024. The premium rides like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Avatar Flight of Passage quickly become an hour wait even if you are first in the park. A majority of those arriving early if they are staying at the Disney hotels will try to ride them first thing. You are better off buying a individual lightning lane for them in my opinion. Or you need to be first in line and arrive at least 30 minutes before the parks open to Disney hotel guests. Bring umbrellas if it rains. You can optionally buy rain ponchos at Disney.

TRANSPORT Disney express not collecting from the airport anymore since covid. News flash Disney your rides are more crowded than a bus from the airport would be. Also your other buses , skyliners between parks & resorts still run and mix folk together in busy times. Go figure!!! PARK TICKETS & APP Previously your park ticket was all you needed but not anymore! Now the parks offer out of hours experiences & special events all at additional cost for example halloween August 11th to Nov 1st. Yes you read that correctly Halloween in August/sept/Oct & Nov 1st. No reduction on park tickets for having less time available to make way for the “special event @ extra cost” Now you have the “my Disney experience” app. More complicated than necessary even if you could just get the stupid thing to work. So unreliable you spend more time trying to do simple things than it takes to spend 305 minutes (yes 305 minutes) in a line up for a ride. My advice is use line up time to try doing something “ANYTHING” on the app. Don’t rely on it for dinner reservations we tried 3 times & the app wouldn’t work as it should. Don’t rely on it for anything other than burning your time and frustrating & stressing you out. Disney have done away with fast pass & introduced Disney Genie & Disney Genie + and lightening lanes. It’s just new ways to screw you for even more money. It’s so sad that the dream Walt Disney had to create a magical experience for children and families is now purely about how many ways they can get even more of your hard earned cash. Hotels in economy and mid range have very little difference between them other than nicer communal areas. MEALS Food is a nightmare for families in world of flavours. There are 3 line ups (at least) all offering different meals which means if your a family you likely end up in different lines to cater for each family member tastes. By the time you have everyone’s meal some if not all are cold. Servers cannot deviate from what’s prepared ie burger no cheese!!! Simple request that even McDonalds can cope with. Restaurants can’t do walk in you have to stand there at the eateries entrance desk and go onto the app and make a dinner reservation!!!! If you can’t get it to work (it didn’t) the super friendly & patient staff will attempt go through the pain barrier with you and book your table on your version of the app for you in hope they can make it work. 1 out 3 places managed. (We are eating out away from Disney tonight) RIDES Several rides are closed as being replaced but no sign of anything in place to pre-warn you sad if it’s a family favourite. Also is it necessary to do them all together during school holidays? Don’t get me wrong they have fierce competition from other parks like universal so have to drastically update rides but not at such busy times. My family & I travelled half way across the world and it’s been a disappointment. I’ve done Disney for the 4th & final time it’s just not what it used to be shame on you Disney.

An absolute waste of money, we travel from the Uk after working hard for a holiday. I don’t want to spend the whole time buried in my phone just to grab a ride. Universal only in future for us, have look at the reviews and everyone agrees it’s a rip-off and a massive mistake with Genie+ Been going Disney since a child and now 52, it’s a shadow of the magic it was.

The parks are overbooked - every que is 60 plus minutes - even if you virtual que be prepared to spend another 60 to 80 min in a que. The only fast option is to spend another $18 to $25 per person per day for the lighting pass. At Epcot there are also a number on of rides broken down. Totally over priced and sorry to say not worth it
