It was a fun-filled environment. I didn't do the tallest slide because of the long lines, howeve, the lower slides were thrilling enough for me. I love that they provide showered and changing areas for folks likee me that wanted to go out somewhere else right afterwards.

Typhoon Lagoon was closed for ages and just reopened the week we were here which was fortunate for us. Equally fortunate, was that we chose to go on a brilliantly sunny day but cool - 50s when we arrived which meant this popular park was less than half full. This makes a huge difference to the experience, in that there were no lines for the slides virtually all day, and the wave pool (which is first class) wasn't crowded. This is the better of the two Disney Water Parks in my view. The centrepiece is the wave pool which has a very large wave generator that operates on and off all day, with breaks to allow those not wishing to see a 10 foot wave bearing down on them enjoy a more relaxed experience. However, the "whoosh" that proceeds each wave is undeniably exciting and it is pretty intense when you are in the break zone of the wave but it's all great fun. Be aware of this though, if you get tumbled over since the bottom of the pool is a little rough and can scrape you up a bit if you are not careful. There is a good selection of slides here although none as intense as Slush Gusher or Summit Plummet on offer at Blizzard Beach but most of the other slides are better I think. The water coaster "Crush and Gusher" is great fun and I was glad the park was empty because I imagine this is somewhat slow loading and I suspect lines will build a lot at busy times. The body slides are great and there are several tube and raft slides too so there is something for everyone here. The body slides are pretty fast and humunga cowabunga is a rapid five story plunge but isn't super-intimidating. I have to say that it isn't immediately obvious why the park was closed for so long for refurbushment. It is in good shape but seems very similar to when I went several years ago but it is a very nice place to be. There are plenty of sunbeds around and plenty of places to sit although, of course, this is easy to say when the park is half empty. It's a great waterpark in my opinion, although I prefer less than super aggressive slides and if that is what you are seeking you may not find them here but it's all great fun. There are food options here as well as a number of bars and drink venues although there isn't a great variety of food on offer but it is, after all, a water park. Very much enjoyed our day here.

This was an extra-ordinary experience. Me, Luigi, Dominique and Billy had a bundle of laughs the Disney spirit came into us!!! However, we did have a little accident in the lazy river - poor luigi ate some spicy chicken wings and it blew is wig off. billy had some trouble in the changing rooms as he got trapped in a locker whilst trying to free a moth but staff were exceptionally helpful and even brought out a crowbar. didn't see billy for the rest of the day, what a laugh! The surf pool was something else Dominique was swept off her feet any times and got fed up but a long sunbathing sesh made up for it. was rather disappointed when they wouldn't let me take my loaded dog and large coke on the slides with me, it has always been a dream of mine to guzzle down a glizzy whilst surfing some gnarly waves. the compromise they made was for me to eat my food and then ride the waves. bad news, i did not wait 20 minutes. lets just say, I took myself to brown town. I didn't make it as there was still a commotion over billy in the changing rooms which blocked my way to the bathroom. when I finally made it to the bathroom there wasn't much business left to do... Had a blast, would recommend and have already booked our holiday next year, although they did say we had to go online to do this and that "the life guards don't have the resources to book a holiday" anyone who wishes to join us well be there on the 22nd of June 2024!!!

We came here 3 times whilst on holiday to Orlando. We love water parks and so do our little ones. Our youngest was too small for a couple of the rides, but we all enjoyed it and found plenty of other rides/attractions to go on. One of the days had quite a big storm (thunder and lightening) so they closed all the pools. We took the opportunity to have a long lunch break and wait it out. This was a really good call as lots of people left. We could then pretty much walk straight on to most rides after the storm cleared. The wave pool is great, both of our children love this. The rides are good for adults as well as kids. There are some places that do need a good clean, such as the steps that go up to master blaster type slides. All the staff encountered were nice, polite and helpful.

This park has rides for every age group and we really enjoyed the wave pool and lazy River. Staff were kind and were able to describe rides.

Hired a cabana for the day which was delightful! Free water, unlimited refillable soft drinks and your own waitress and a locked safe at your cabana. Shout out to Charlotte she was wonderful! Loved the slides, lazy river and wave pool. Tip: wear a swim top! You can pick them up cheaply in target and will save a whole lot of sunburn!

Love this waterpark and lazy river. The kids do the slides and I do the lazy river. I do wish they would have more sitting floats in the lazy river, but truthfully this is one of the few lazy rivers we have been to that have sitting floats instead of all rings. The grounds are beautiful, the selection of food is great, and we have been there many times. Get there early to sit under an umbrella or rent one.

Where do I start. No.1 not enough areas for younger kids to play No.2 kids area 60" and below. Both my girls refused entry onto slides. Cause she was 60" and my other girl was 56" . No.3 not allowed to wear water shoes on rides incase they slow you down but can wear a t-shirt that could snag and choke you. No.4 wave pool far too intense. No.5 cast members very abrupt when approached

We’ve done quite a few water parks and wanted to do Typhoon Lagoon as we’d done Blizzard Beach and Volcano Bay in the Orlando area. Let me just say that we didn’t repeat any rides. We enjoyed the lazy river and the wave pool was probably THE best thing there. It had a really big punch to it. I’ve never seen a wave pool like it. The other rides were a bit rough to be honest. We like Blizzard Beach FAR better as they have better rides and food there. Yes, we rented a cabana which was fine, in a great spot and seemed secluded from others who were in the crowded chair area. This park is a lot of walking. I hear great things about Aquatica (Sea World) so that may be our next try. I personally would not return to this one. I did love the theme of the park; just not the rides.
