The Boch Center Wang Theatre and Folk American Roots Hall of Fame Tour was outstanding. This is a must see for all theater and music lovers. Their historian Scott was a font of knowledge and so pleasant. You will see the music exhibits on the second floor and in the basement. There are photos, instruments, statues, programs of American musicians and songwriters of many genres. The Center will soon be inducting some of these people into their Hall of Fame private event and that will be featured on PBS. The basement room has a hologram of philanthropist Ernie Boch with whom you can interact as well as some of his guitars and some decorated guitars. You will sit in the audience and hear about the incredible art work. You will stand on the enormous stage which is a once in a lifetime experience. You will see a dressing room, autographed by performers playbills, and even the unique AC room. It was a wonderful few hours in this grand dame of Boston theater.

There primarily for the Springsteen exhibition. The theater tour was fabulous. As theater geeks, I loved being backstage and downstairs. Seeing the walls signed by so many artists was wonderful, I would go again!

What an amazing theater. As soon as you walk in you are in awe of how beautiful this theater is. It is so ornately decorated. From my vantage point it did not seem like there was a bad seat in the house. The seats were very comfortable and there was plenty of room between each row. It was a pleasant theater experience and would definitely like to go back to see other shows in the future.

Ordering tickets to historic filled theatre in Boston was easy with a great price. Tour started at entrance of building, which was locked when we arrived, we didn't know if it was cancelled or if we were at wrong location. I called number on ticket several times before someone answered and said to just wait. Tour was amazing, being lead from floor to floor even backstage and lower level of theatre by the guide who was informative and waited for everyone before he began to talk. Parking was not onsite and was hectic to find. After tour I presented my parking ticket for credit and was told they do not honor parking tickets. I would have walked to theatre if I knew they wouldn't pay parking; which was part of the ticket offer.

So helpful when making reservations and even when it was necessary to reschedule due to illness. Our guide was outstanding and so knowledgeable about the history and special exhibitions.

This was simply amazing! Vee was our tour guide and as it was only a small group gave us extra time in the music experience areas which were a great addition as I wasn’t expecting these. The theatre itself is just amazing and really spectacular, I would say it’s more grand than majority of the London theatres, just breathtaking as you go into the main lobby. Best of the tour was you actually get to go all the way upto the orchestra pit AND onto the stage!!! Which you never ever get to do. This was a highlight for me seeing the stage from the performers view. Definitely a must do your for anyone who loves theatre, performing arts or general history and architecture.

Boston is steeped in history. The Wang Center is a delicious slice of that history. Recently restored to its original opulence, just the opportunity to explore it free of crowds is worth the price of admission. Our guide Scott’s entertaining and engaging stories elevated the experience. Add a fantastic collection of Americana Roots memorabilia and you have yourself a winner. Highly recommended for dyed in the wool Bostonians and visitors alike.

I went with 5 of my family members and on of the shen Yun security people made me feel so Awful. He was so rude. I wanted to leave. I went down stairs and George helped me and made me feel better and I stayed. I'm a regular customer to boch center and I really appreciate the help from them.
