Your Itinerary

Washington DC

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour time to check-in and be fitted on your bike. You'll meet your guide and go over a few safety rules and learn what to expect during your tour.

Jefferson Memorial

Arrive at the Jefferson Memorial and hear a few facts about one of the most impressive monuments in DC. You'll have a chance to walk up the steps and check out Jefferson's bronze statue and enjoy the views across the Tidal Basin.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

As we respect our memorials, we don't ride through the FDR Memorial, so you'll dismount and walk your bike through the impressive four "rooms" that represent the terms FDR served our country as president. There are some unique photo opportunities inside. And make sure that you stop to rub Fala's ears for good luck!

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

Again, we don't ride inside the memorials, so you'll stop just outside and hear from your guide before taking a few minutes to walk into the MLK memorial through the "Mountain of Despair" to the Martin Luther King memorialized in the "Stone of Hope".

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Like many of the memorials in DC, the Korean War Veterans Memorial holds many secrets of symbolism that you may never know if you visited on your own. Your guide will share a few facts that will just add to your awe of this impressive memorial. Remember: "Freedom Isn't Free".

Lincoln Memorial

Some people say that a trip to Washington, DC isn't complete unless you see Honest Abe sitting in his place of honor overlooking the National Mall. Are Lincoln's hands are making sign language symbols of his initials "A" and "L"? See for yourself when you climb the steps up to the top after your guide shares some insight into the design of one of our most storied memorials.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

You'll stop just outside the Vietnam Wall to learn about the design and thought behind this impressive tribute to a conflict that holds such a personal connection for so many of our guests. Some of the stories that our guides share will bring a tear to your eye.

Vietnam Women's Memorial

The Vietnam Women's Memorial is dedicated to the women who served, most of whom were nurses.

National World War II Memorial

One of the newer memorials in DC pays tribute to those who served in World War II. Your guide will share some insight on the design and history before providing a few minutes to explore. You may even be able to see the only "authorized" graffiti on a DC memorial.

Washington Monument

Have you ever noticed that the Washington Monument is actually two different colors? You'll learn why on your tour...along with several other fun facts about this iconic memorial to the United States first president. (Note: we do not go into the Monument)

Unlimited Biking Washington DC

Finish your back where you started at L'Enfant Plaza. Your guide will wrap up your tour and be happy to provide a few tips for the rest of your visit to our Nation's Capital.

Allegra was our tour guide, and she was great! This tour hit all of the major spots including some I had never been to before. It was my favorite part of the trip! We did not have any problems with our e-bikes and had a great day!

The experience of riding a bike through the monuments is a must do. Our tour guide was excellent. There just wasn't enough time to see the monuments. We were only allotted 5-7 minutes at most monuments which was hardly enough time to get off the bike and take a look at them. We missed one monument completely because we had to use the restroom during our 3 hour tour. I ended up having to pay other service to go back so that I could see them all. Overall, wonderful experience riding the bike. Knowledgeable tour guide. No time to actually see the monuments.

The tour was great and the guide was very well informed! I didn’t like that we weren’t given any instructions about our bikes. Didn’t ask us where we are from or what we’d like to see unlike other tours I’ve been on. I had never used a geared bike before so ended up driving at the highest one only to realize why I was struggling at the end of the tour. The guide passed a snide remark when the chain popped instead of helping me at the start. My partner struggled as we weren’t informed before hand that the handles of the bike were non adjustable and he is quite tall (6’5”). He had a really bad back at the end of it. The tour guide was only interested in chatting with one family throughout the entire trip and he was very interactive with all the kids from the family but pretty much ignored the rest of us.

We liked it because it was a great way to get all the monuments done in a day. Our tour guide could improve his canned explanation of the monuments. His personality was lacking enthusiasm.

Fun, great way to see sights. Good for kids. An easy bike ride, well guided. I’ve now done this twice and have enjoyed it both times.

Great way to see the monuments with kids! We brought our 10, 8 and 6 year olds with us. They had so much fun! Tour guides were very helpful and informative.

Joe was incredible !! He was so knowledgeable and fun and knew all the good spots on DC. Well worth the money!! Great experience. Thank you Joe!!

Great bike tour! Our guide David was excellent, knowledgable and entertaining and kept everyone safe. 2 of our bikes were solid- one a bit noisy but worked okay. Highly recommend the tour. Fantastic way to see all the major monuments at once and get a good historical perspective too! Ride is flat and easy so as long as you’re comfortable on a bike you’ll have fun.

Jacqueline_C

This was the best way to view the memorials and monuments! So much better than walking through them all. The guide was very knowledgeable and we loved the small tidbits of previously unknown facts about the memorials.

Shirley_Y

Biking to see most of the DC monuments is the way to go. The monuments are far enough apart that walking to each one of them takes a lot of time and many steps, so seeing them by bicycle is a no-brainer. The ride is pretty flat, so it's easy. I wouldn't recommend this to kids younger than 10 unless they are experienced bicycle riders and can keep up with adults. Our tour guide was pretty good. My only criticism is that we skipped 2 important monuments (Korea War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial) due to lack of time.
