Thoroughly enjoyed this tour!! Beautiful scenery, with a knowledgeable and personable tour guide (Damon) leading the way! There were only 3 customers on the tour -- I was really pleased that they ran it with so few. Will be recommending this tour to my friends and family!

After having toured the city of Portland, it was a pleasure to be on this tour that took us outside of the city and into the pretty countryside, with stops at three beautiful waterfalls. Tour guide Damon was a treasure trove of fun stories and interesting info, delivered with infectious enthusiasm. We are thoroughly pleased to have chosen Peak Tours and to have had Damon as our guide. We highly recommend this experience.

We had a great time on this tour. Damon is personable and funny and full of great information about the history and geography of the area. He took us to many waterfalls, some out of the way (and the crowds). This tour exceeded my expectations. It was a beautiful day and a great way to see the Columbia river gorge. There were five of us in the van, my husband and I and adult children. We all loved it.

We were picked up on time by Damon in a very clean and comfortable passenger van. He is very informative and took us to multiple waterfalls ( I wish I could remember the names ) A few times parking was an issue so we were dropped off and given a time frame for pickup. Everytime Damon had managed to find somewhere to park and was waiting for us. Great tour! - Larry

Chose this company for the convenient pick-up location and venue. Chose tour in order to dodge hassle with parking and driving, to let me be able to see the sights along the road and at stops. This tour did just that! We met at a convenient spot and our tour guide handled the driving and parking! He also shared stories along the way and managed the unexpected road work well. We saw three waterfalls on our tour. Our guide led us to Latourell Falls himself, and awakens Falls too, which was good for me because I can easily get lost. He didn’t do the uphill trek for the other because (1) the path was very easy to see (paved walkway) and (2) he needed to manage the parking situation, as there was no parking there. The company offers bottled water and snacks but we had brought our own. We had a few minutes to shop at a couple of the stops. Now comments for those considering a visit to this road and its falls: —Vista House is only open on select days for select hours, so plan ahead. It has a gift shop in the basement that is adorable. Offers magnets, post cards, and pressed pennies of Vista House and for Multnomah Falls. (Multnomah is busy so easier to buy here.) —We did the morning tour in early June. By the time we got to Multnomah, the light was not great for photos. —our tour was 3 hours and I did feel pressed for time. We couldn’t do Bridal Veil falls due to the loss of 15+ minutes due to road construction. There are 4 hour tours on TripAdvisor if this is important to you. —We didn’t get very wet. It was a clear day with light wind. I took ponchos, expecting something like at Niagara Falls, but we hardly got any spray at any time. Your results may vary, as other reviews mentioned getting wet. Overall very pleased with this company in particular. Very human, personable. Enough conversation and stories to make time slide by but not so much as to be overwhelmed. Driving style is gentle and safe. I’d do business with them again without hesitation.

This was such an amazing tour! Damon was so passionate about the City, it’s history, and nature. He gave ample time to explore the waterfalls and take in the breathtaking views. The van was spacious and clean. The tour felt very personalized and I am so happy I chose this company for the tour! Communication before the tour was superb as well. They picked me up from my hotel. The only regret is I wish I booked even more tours through this company. 10/10 recommended. You will not be disappointed booking a tour through this company.

Excellent on all counts. Van comfortable, driver excellent. Tour guide (who was also the driver) quite knowledgeable, with info I hadn't known despite being a long-time Oregon resident. Very attentive to needs of his people -- I use a cane and have trouble with knees and he watched out for me. A very pleasant experience, good for newbies to the area as well as old-timers. Damon did a short tour of downtown Portland as well as visiting important sights along the old road through the Gorge to Multnomah Falls, where we turned around.

I recommend wearing shoes you don't mind getting wet! It was raining when I took the tour today, and I wish I dressed more appropriately. That said it was a great tour. I've never been so close to a waterfall before. The hike was short and easy. I'm surprised you don't hear more about Oregon waterfalls, like Niagara falls. They aren't as big but they are beautiful. There seemed to be one around every bend in the road!

My group really loved this tour! What a cool story of how the road was built. I learned some fun facts about Oregon and saw truly beautiful sights! Thank you Damon!
