The London Stadium is formerly known as Olympic Stadium and The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was built for the 2012 Summer Olympic, 2012 Summer Paralympics as the track and field venue, as well as the site for their opening and closing ceremonies. The stadium was a flexible open-air platform at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London Stratford district. The stadium was later renovated and is now mostly used as a home for West Ham United of Premier League as a multi-purpose stadium for football lovers. West Ham United Football Club is a Stratford-based, East London professional English football club. West Ham proudly reached the highest division of English football in the Premier League. The club is playing at the London Stadium, which has moved Boleyn Ground from its former home in 2016. The club was founded in 1895 and renamed in 1900 as West Ham United by Thames Ironworks. Therefore, you can see the two hammers on the coat of arms. In 1904, the club moved to Boleyn Hill, where they lived more than a hundred years. The Southern and Western League team originally played before joining the Football League in 1919. In 1923, the club was promoted to the top flight after they faced finalists at the Wembley FA Cup Final. The first Football League War Cup was won by the club in 1940, hurrah! The first public function at the Olympic Stadium, which was the finishing line for the National Lottery Olympic Park Run on 31 March 2012. The five-mile run around the Olympic Park was attended by five thousand people, including celebrities, British athletes and the winning public at the national lottery competition. Beware! I am a West Ham supporter of Greek Origin, so when Olympiacos came to town last November, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase tickets and go and see the game. I purchased two tickets for me and my wife, paying a total of £ 152. Shortly afterwards, I got an email from West Ham to say that my tickets had been 'blocked' until I could prove that I am a West Ham fan. Not sure how you can prove that you are a fan of a particular club, they asked if I had a West Ham shirt or scarf. The answer was not to both, I am 70 years old and would not walk around with a West Ham shirt or scarf. As it turned out, the club told me that I would not be able to get admission to the game, although I had two valid tickets. I asked for a refund and was told that this was out of the question. So, I have paid £ 152 for nothing, I think it is fair to say that I have been cheated by West Ham United. Never again. Supporters please be aware how they treat you!

Took my sons and grandsons to the West Ham legends tour,lucky for us we had Alvin Martin and his accomplice Steve showing everyone around.The stadium is very impressive and it is interesting to see parts of the stadium which most people do not see.Alvin Martin was the most humble,funny and pleasant man who made time for everybody,the stories he told and the questions he answered were all very informative .He even let the kids have pictures with his FA cup winners medal.I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone.

This was a 90 minutes guided tour. We met in the Cafeteria of the West Ham store. During the tour we visited the changing rooms (for both football😁 and baseball😒), the pitch and the stands. The tour guide was great. He explained a lot about the history of the stadium and all the different transformation it goes through from Olympic to football to baseball to concerts. He explained in detail the changes in structure and design in order to accommodate each activity. He also shared the history of West Ham and their contribution to the 1966 World cup.
