Travel by air-conditioned 4wd bus, up the West Coast of Maggie towards West Point. Experience the lowland habitat, mangroves and salt mashes, eucalypt forests, creeks and flood plains. We travel adjacent to the National Park. Have the possibility to see koalas, possums, birds and raptors in the lowland forests. Witness a magnificent sunset at West Point, and if lucky watch the Dugongs cavorting in the shallows. Sip on champagne while enjoying sunset.

The perfect way to see the western part of the island which requires the right vehicle & know how- Tim offers this and more. His enthusiasm and knowledge shines through & you learn so much while enjoying the scenery. The sunset is a unique experience - you won’t be disappointed if you do this tour!

What a fantastic way to spend and afternoon/ evening. The guide was very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna in the area and shared the history of the area as well. Makes for an enjoyable tour!

An absolutely must do experience when you're on magnetic island! I did this as a solo backpacker, and it turned out that I was the only one for that day that booked in for the tour. Tim made the experience a buck list experience for me; a very genuine and nice guy, has lots of knowledge of wild life and nature, knowing where all the best spots are for that time of year. I sore a koala bears and more, and it was all perfectly tied together at the end with a very nice bistro of snacks and beverages, on a comfy chair and table watching the sun set on a beach with very little people on it. I would highly recommend doing this, not just because it's a fantastic experience but also a very good way to see the West Coast which can be difficult without a proper vehicle and know how. Definitely worth the money and time, really good tour guide and a unique experience I well definitely be telling everyone when I get back home! 🌞🤠

If you’re thinking of booking this tour, you’re absolutely not going to regret this one! Tim is a wealth of knowledge and made sure we saw as much as possible, while still feeling very relaxed and without any worry of time. We were able to see and learn about many many plants and wildlife; we even got to borrow some of Tim’s binoculars for an up close experience!! Tim’s passion shines through with every word he speaks. All of this, and you haven’t even seen the grand finale of the night! Tim sets up a lovely charcuterie board while you take a walk along the beach. Then you return to a perfect date night of an incredible sight of the sun setting over the Paluma mountain range. Stay long enough to see the stars start to peak out and remember, if you’re from the northern hemisphere, many of these stars are ones you’ve never seen before!! My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of this simple, yet sophisticated outing.

Brilliant tour with very knowledgeable guide. Told us some stories and facts along the way so it wasn't just a drive. Took us to a beautiful spot on the beach with great views of the sunset. There was only me and one other person that night but Tim left us to enjoy the lovely platter he'd prepared along with champagne on ice while we watched the sun go down. Great experience and highly recommended

Such an amazing trip and so well guided by Tim! It turned out that there was only myself and another solo traveller booked onto the tour, so Tim called in advance to let us know that we would be picked up in a car rather than the bus, and to check what drink we would prefer for the sunset. On the drive out we had really great conversations filled with local knowledge and we got to see a family of wild koalas on the drive. Once we arrived at west point we were treated with a lovely platter of food and incredible views, we were also lucky enough to see turtles and dugongs swimming around before the sunset! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting because unless you have your own 4x4 it's almost impossible to access this beautiful side of the island.

We enjoyed a leisurely informative trip to West Point, a magnificent sunset at an awesome location, exploring the beach, devouring a delicious platter and cold beverages whilst being looked after by our amazing host, Tim!!
