    James was the consummate British tour guide. He has an expansive wealth of information and enjoys sharing it. James is the best of the best. In addition to the incredible detailed explanations of the sites and their contents, he answered every question we posed. Upon completion of our 5+ hour tour he even provided us with detailed info to ensure we could continue our tour of London on our own. His tour is worth every cent. If you would like an efficient and thorough tour of the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey, take this one.

    James Hart's knowledge of The Tower of London and Westminster Abbey is incredibly vast. He escorted our group throughout the Tower of London and provided an extraordinary level of detail for the artifacts and settings. At Westminster Abbey, our group was only the two of us and James maintained the same pace without any sense of him trying to rush through. We covered the entire area of the Abbey, both inside and out, and he displayed his extensive knowledge of its history the whole time. During the boat ride between the Tower and Westminster, he pointed out many of the buildings we passed and their place in London's history. It was a wonderful day and we highly recommend this tour to anyone.

    Tower of London

    Once inside the Tower of London James will escort you through the Historic Royal Palace, where you will hear stories of the famous and infamous people who have lived here. You will see the spectacular collection of armour and weapons, the executioner’s block and axe, the ravens, the Beefeaters and the dazzling Crown Jewels. After the Tower of London tour, a short break for refreshments before we take the boat to Westminster.

    Westminster Abbey

    We will spend approximately two hours in Westminster Abbey and its spectacular environs. You will see the tombs of world-famous poets and scientists, and the places of rest of seventeen English kings. You’ll view the Coronation Chair and see where English Kings have received their Crowns and Coronation Regalia since 1066.
