Great experience. We called Wes, made the appointment and met up at 9am at the cave site. Wes got all the equipment ready and our family was ready to go into the cave. Wes likes what he does and it shows, he's a fantastic tour guide. Our family had a wonderful time exploring the cave and learning about the cave habitat and its inhabitants including the bats, salamanders and more. The tour lasted four hours and Wes took lots of photos and videos for us. We just loved it and can't say enough good things about the experience.

This is by far the best way to see a cave!! Wes was great and very knowledgeable about his cave. He takes special care with the cave wildlife as well. Anyone wanting to explore a truly wild cave should give Wes a call. We had a blast and definitely be going back!!

We have been “caving” before, but we’ve never had an experience like this one. This is adventurous and challenging. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. My husband is 6’5” and 222# so I was a bit apprehensive about what he would be able to do safely. I read several reviews from guests that were bigger than my husband, and they all had a great time. It was challenging but completely doable. Wes was a patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable guide. If you’re up for an adventure you’ll never forget, BOOK THIS TOUR.

This is a Bucketlist experience!!!! Hands down! One of the most phenomenal experiences I've had in my life. That's saying something because my whole life I have sought out adventure and new experiences from all over the world. Being an adventurer and thrill seeker I sought out to have a truly unique experience while I am visiting my family in Alabama and I found it!!!! I contacted Wes first before I booked because I was worried about my curves. I'm 230 pounds and top heavy. My biggest worry was getting stuck. I have been turned down for caving before particularly in Belize because I was not the right proportions. He reassured me I would be okay and said he has had a 350 pound man cave with him. So I definitely felt comfortable . You start out meeting him on his private property. You gear up, elbow pads, knee pads, gloves on top of your thick caving clothes and then you are off! You enter his private cave and right away you realize as he looks like a kid who entered a candy store that this is going to be very special. Immediately you are whisked away to look at the cave salamders, the unique formations, the writing on the cave walls, learn about the history, it goes on and on. This cave has waterfalls, creatures, little rivers, amazing tunnels, unique plant life. Wes goes into detail on everything and anything. The gleam in his eyes is infectious and his conversation is interwoven with boyish wonder. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better it does. The true wild adventure starts. You push your body and your fears. You squeeze into small tunnels on your belly, on your hands and knees, feeling an incredible sense of pride and accomplishment and wonder that you did it. He always gives you the option to back out. You don't have to do sections of the wild wild part but I highly suggest you do! I was blown away at all the life that existed there. We saw bats, special crustaceans, cave Salamanders, his resident pack rat, we saw so much. The formations are amazing. The stalactites, stalagmites, cave bacon, etc. So many wonders for the eye to see. Do it, Do it, Do it !!!!!! Thank you Wes for an unforgettable day!

You know, looking back to when I was a teen, I'd been on a few trips but I can't really remember alot of the details because they were great, but basic. This is anything but that and this is definitely an experience my 16 yr old son will not ever forget, and he did it with me, we will have this memory to share together. That's priceless! He didn't know what we were doing until we showed up as I planned it to keep him curious.. Funny thing is I thought I had more of an idea of what we were doing and was blown away by the suprise element of what we really got ourselves into. I was extremely comfortable and trusted Wes the guide from the get go and kinda just went with the flow. We had a small group, my son and I and 1 other guest which made it extra awesome. I felt no pressure to do anything a certain way or do something I didn't want to. I received encouragement but not pressure. There was a moment the 3 others went to a place I didn't want to. I actually got everything I needed out of that moment though because I turned off my headlamp and sat in complete and utter darkness and silence other than hearing water flowing around me. I layed back and just took the time to feel almost blissful. My son went into places I never thought he would. He's never been a risk taker. So to see him go beyond his norm was amazing! We started in a open space and ended in very tight spaces and it was wild! I am so glad I didn't know what to expect because the unknown was more magical, challenging and exciting. You must do this. Don't think about it, just do it! You will not regret it!!!

This is one of those life experiences you won't forget and will probably ruin other cave "tours" for you. This is absolutely not your average cave tour experience. My tour consisted of four people; the guide, a mom and her teenage son, and myself (the guide said the max people is 8). The trip starts with an overview of what you will be experiencing and the gear. There are no lights in the cave, you get headlamps on a helmet as well as elbow and knee pads. It should be noted that from the beginning you are told that there is definitely some places with some tight squeezes, however, they are optional (mostly). That is one of the great parts; you get the choice to opt out of what you aren't comfortable with. The cave starts out pretty standard with spacious rooms and tunnels. The best part is that its pretty laid back and not on a tight schedule, so you can really spend more or less time if you have questions, want to look at something, or want to explore a side tunnel. The guide takes hundreds of pictures and videos for you (which are free to you) so you don't have to worry about having your own camera and it getting wet, broken, or lost. As you progress further into this four hour tour, the tunnels get a bit smaller, but also a lot better - more unique and beautiful. The cool part is that because of the guide and his demeanor throughout the experience, you barely even notice that you are crawling through a space you would have been uncomfortable with an hour before. Without realizing (for the most part), by the end I was comfortably through areas I would not have expected to do prior to the experience. This is definitely a "top 5" experience of a lifetime.

One of a kind special adventure. Was looking for interesting things to do with my eleven year old grandson who came to visit for the summer. Read the awesome reviews about this wonderful place and they were all spot on. I always try to review accurately and truthfully because just like me you’re looking for what’s it really like. I will say the entrance from the road to small building is a little rough looking. Don’t let that deter you. On the other side is wonderland. Expect to get wet and dirty. The guide took pictures and sent album via text that was so appreciated because it very hard to take picture climbing out of rock formations. Good luck 🍀

This was the most epic experience my 13 year old son and I had done together. I have done my own cave exploration and cave guided tours all over the states. I really wanted to do a real experience in a cave instead of handrails and lights but in a safer setting then what I did in my younger risk free days lol. Don’t get me wrong - I was blown away by the time we were on this adventure and the freedom to explore and challenge ourselves in and out of our comfort zones. Wes was super knowledgeable and could tell he was really into and passionate about the cave. My son said he wanted to see a bat and some salamanders and he sure did, even held the bat up close and personal! And thank you Wes for the knee and elbow pads, headlamps with fresh batteries, and helmets- so thankful for those)So my opinion is I would do a few things differently- I wouldn’t have taken my small pack, truck keys, or my waterproof armband with phone (if you bring your phone, make certain it is waterproof lol) But….. I did like taking photos myself, however when I got the ones from Wes there wasn’t anything I missed - he takes lots of pictures for everyone! I think it was a ton of fun and my son was able to squeeze through a place the rest of us couldn’t so I was impressed he did! Caves are cold, yes, water is cold, correct and in caves and water will make you cold, but totally worth it. The hours blurred by I couldn’t believe we were down there that long! If you are looking for a crazy long adventure you aren’t going to be disappointed. So for myself doing this hobby long before my son was born and doing over 4 other caves this past year, I had a blast and nothing I have done compared to this trip. Thank you Wes for searing a beautiful memory in our hearts. I hope my son never forgets this adventure, I know I won’t!

This was hands down the best tour I’ve EVER been on!! Be aware you’re gonna get dirty and wet- and the water is COLD (somehow my brain knew the cave was cool but didn’t think about the water temperature 🤣🤦‍♀️). There are some TIGHT squeezes you will crawl through. I knew all of this going in…. I wasn’t expecting to army crawl and wiggle crawl though areas 🤣. I loved it so so so much!! It was def a great adventure! Wes did an AMAZING job making sure everyone was safe and felt secure with footings and any tricky areas. He would tell us and guide us where to put feet and best places to hold. He also took a million photos - which was amazing since we didn’t want to risk taking our phone down. I absolutely LOVED him letting us take our time - not only with tricky areas but areas and spots to just look and chill. This tour was a million times better than I expected!! I 10000% will be returning and telling all of my friends.

Amazing experience, a real adventure, so much fun. Will do it again! This was not a boring cave sidewalk adventure. This was real cave exploring.
