    I managed to squeeze this trip in my itinerary last minute. I was on 2 consecutive day tours prior to the Wilson's trip and wasn't sure if it would be too tiring for me or not. I made up my mind and decided to book this through their website anyway and I did not regret it! It happens to be the best day tour out of all the day tours I did while I was in Melbourne. Jaimes had a great sense of humour and made the trip fun. We were also a small fun group. It did feel a little rushed though. I would rather come back and spend longer time there, however if you are only in Melbourne for a short period of time, I would recommend doing this tour. Jaimes's partner, Laney did not appear very useful. She did not seem to enjoy being the guide and although she was supposed to lead us walking from Tidal river to Squeaky beach, she literally just walked on her own and we ended up walking by ourselves. The Go West Tour customer service was amazing, very fast response and friendly, which I appreciate very much.

    Pick up from Melbourne CBD was convenient and smooth, I always dread driving on a bank holiday but also taking buses with people - this turned out really well. Drive down was great and Cloe gave us plenty of tidbits about Australia, Melbourne and the Prom, all accompanied by a great playlist. We stopped in Meeniyan and we chose a great little place called Trulli Pantry - more on a separate review for them. Mount Bishop - a good walk but the views at the top are amazing and Cloe takes great pictures. Squeaky Beach - it really does squeak, and we really didn't want to leave the sand behind! Wildlife walk was a bit of a miss but thats just the way it is with WILDLIFE, they don't keep to a schedule. Still, we did come across a few Roos and Emus! All in all, very worth the money and the trip.

    Recommended for people who can go hiking without assistance. Our guide/driver Jon is very enthusiastic. The views are amazing in the Wilson prom. The drive is a bit long but the hiking is rewarding. Also, our group spotted quite a few wild animals. Other people on the tour are all very nice too.

    Squeaky Beach

    Squeaky Beach is so named because of the sounds you'll hear while walking along the sand. The rounded grains of quartz make a squeaking sound when you walk, giving this popular local beach its name. The famous white sand leads to turquoise waters at one of Wilsons Promontory's most iconic beaches. Enjoy a dip in the ocean here if you wish, or just enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding area from the beach.

    Tidal River Footbridge

    As we journey through Wilson's Promontory National Park, we'll make a stop at the charming town of Tidal River, the only settlement within the park. Here, you'll have the chance to explore the picturesque surroundings and keep an eye out for the local birdlife that call this area home.

    Taking this walk will lead you to breathtaking vistas of the promontory from the summit. Keep in mind that this portion of the tour demands the most physical exertion, so make certain to bring along a comfortable pair of walking shoes.
