Great fun staff aree great and it's a different view of the river. Better than the boat trip . As you get to see bits on the road as well

I can’t really give a review on this trip as the Duck tour bus was cancelled and no one let me know!! I booked it through TripAdvisor /Viator online. The money was taken out of my bank. I took my two excited granddaughters into Windsor, paid £10.50 for two hours in the nearest car park and walked in the rain to the Duck/Bus stop ten minutes before the Duck was due. Another family with their little grandson turned up also. We waited 15 minutes after the due time and then I saw a phone number for the tour. On phoning, we were told it had been cancelled! He asked who we had booked with and when I told him it was through yourselves, he said you book the tickets with them but don’t give them contact details for such circumstances. I’m hoping to receive at least my ticket money back. It cost me almost £70 plus the cost to take the girls somewhere else so their day wasn’t completely wasted.

We’re all adults who live locally but my dad really wanted a duck tour for his birthday, so we went on the tour with 50:50 road and water. It was great fun. The guide was knowledgeable about history but also grew up locally and threw in interesting facts about the area. Splashing into the river is great fun for all ages and there’s a fantastic view of Windsor Castle from the turning point of the boat bit.

Hugely expensive for us pensioners. Over £100 for two adults two toddler grandchildren. Cant afford to go again

Part of a Christmas celebration with the office. A surprise and enjoyed by all, especially taking the longer water version, seeing Windsor from the water. Great team from Duck Tours on the trip.

After reading reviews on line, we decided this would be an ideal way to spend a dull afternoon in Windsor. I booked four adult tickets on line around 10.30am, paid with PayPal and went out for the day. We were actually at the Duck stop on Thames Street when I received a message to say that the tour was cancelled. No reason was given. I rang the contact number on the information board and spoke to a very unhelpful man, who told me there were no tours that day (Sunday 12th Nov) and that I had no booking. I had an authorised PayPal receipt, admittedly no money was taken from my account, but I do not understand how I was able to book this tour when it was not available. The man on the phone was unable to answer my questions as to why this was. Very poor service.

The trip was fab despite the intermittent rain and the views of the fancy houses from the river were arguably more interesting than the castle! However, it was the commentary that made the trip for us...we laughed for the entire hour. Russell a was brilliant guide and our skipper was welcoming too!
