Here you can wander through ancient burial grounds that resonate with the spirit of highlanders from the distant past. In the world of this evocative location (aka Craig na dun) reflects the mystical connection to the past that Claire Randall encounters.
Culloden Battlefield
This poignant site of the 1745 Jacobite rebellion holds deep historical significance and features in Outlander as the battle where Jamie clashed swords with Black-Jack Randall, played by Tobias Menzies.

Culloden House Hotel: Bonnie Prince Charlie used Culloden House as his battle headquarters prior to the fateful battle on Culloden Moor. This will be a photo stop.
Beauly Priory
Taking its name from the French 'beau lieu' meaning beautiful place, the pretty ruins of 13th century Beauly Priory served as the backdrop for the Beachamp family's resting place and its here that Claire first encountered Maisri the Seer.
Wardlaw Mausoleum
Steeped in ancient history and as a Jacobite relic, this picturesque burial site features in the time-travelling tale as the burial site of Jamie's grandfather Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, 'The Old Fox', played by Clive Russell.
