Take you on a stroll down Via Rasella. This is where a column of Nazi SS troops was attacked by an ambush of Italian Partisans in 1944, killing 28 SS policemen. You will learn about the Roman Resistance movement and how the Nazi forces retaliated by killing 335 Italians during the Fosse Ardeatine massacre. You will pass the world famous Trevi Fountain and head to Piazza Venezia, where you will find the palace that served as Mussolini’s headquarters.
