Though technically in San Daniele del Friuli, we decided to start our day with a short trip to this osteria, enticed by its reputation for local flavors. The drive itself was beautiful, the morning light painting the rolling hills in hues of gold. We enjoyed a simple breakfast, fueling up for a day of exploration. David, as always, appreciated the strong Italian coffee, while Emily enjoyed a pastry, and I savored some local cheese.
