Our day began with a hearty breakfast at Maya Pakal Restaurant. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the promise of traditional Mexican fare were the perfect start to our explorations. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. I opted for the *huevos rancheros*, while Aisha chose the *chilaquiles*.
