Fyne Ales

Starting in the Brewery Tap, a member of the team will give you an insight into the history of Glen Fyne and Fyne Ales, before an introduction to the key principles and ingredients of brewing. Heading into original brewery, a converted dairy barn, our team will introduce you to the original Fyne Ales brew kit that is still going strong today. You’ll find out about each vessel’s role in the beer- making process and as the original brewery is now home to the Origins Brewing project, you’ll also learn about our use of barrels for fermenting and finishing our special-release beers. Next, you’ll head across the yard to our new brewery in a converted sheep shed, the state-of-the-art facility where we produce our year-round beers. Our guide will share knowledge about the benefits of brewing with an all-British system and the high-level quality processes we use to ensure every pint is perfect when it rolls out of the door. Back at the Brewery Tap, you can enjoy a half pint of one of our draught beers (or soft drink) in the cosy indoor space or in the courtyard. If the weather’s being kind, you can take a wander down the glen to take in more of the stunning scenery.

Warm welcome when we arrived early for our 3pm tour. Tasted a couple of ales and bought a T Shirt prior to the tour Tour was informative and host was very good Small group on tour of about 8 people so we were able ask lots of questions We also got to see the cattle and deer held in the sheds (as it was January and snowing) Great beer, great tour & great Brewery tap would highly recommend visiting the Brewery tap even if you don't do the tour as it is a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
