I am surprised at the reviews. This golf course is exceptional. Stunning surroundings and challenging holes. The staff were helpful and service was excellent. I recommend a visit. The club is a proper golf club

Golf course was in interesting condition as the greens were very soft and very very slow. I will not be coming back to this absolute mess of a golf club. The kitchen staff brought me the wrong food after waiting for a long long time. i will not be returning. WASTE OF A DAY

Golf club was in horrendous condition, pro shop was flooded, toilets weren’t open. Tee boxes were harder than concrete, greens were slow, fairways were brown and were just overall crap.

I love this golf course, par 70, quite challenging. Very scenic, especially the back 9. You can get good twilight prices in Summer and the course is also a member of Play More Golf and 2Fore1 so you can get some great deals if you're not playing enough to warrant a full membership. The greens and fairways are generally in excellent shape. I haven't played in the winter yet so unsure how good drainage is, but everything else is great for all levels of golfers.

Firstly we would like to preface my review by writing that the golf course itself and surrounding grounds are beautiful. The club house overlooks the green and the hot chocolate , made with real chocolate and not instant - was worth the visit. We were en route to visit friends at Gunstone. Sadly though, this was our first and last visit and we cannot recommend the establishment. This is not a place to bring your family, irrespective of age. We visited early in the week and early evening.We were the only patrons. The Clubhouse was spotless clean and a great location. Our pleasant stop off was ruined by a group of men, of an age that really ought to have known better. What we found intolerable and in this day and age, unacceptable, was the extreme profound language and topics of conversations which we would be prohibited from mentioning in this review for fear of outraging public decency. We felt disgusted and offended. If this occurred in any other establishment, the perpetrators would have been asked to leave, However we left. We felt sorry for the young person who appeared to be working alone. The hot chocolate though was sublime, but sublime to the ridiculous !!!
