Carlos was an exceptional guide. The three-hour tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hills and Forum have enough grandeur on their own to leave one awestruck. But Carlos’s knowledge, enthusiasm and polished communication skills, in near perfect and easily understood English made the experience so educational and added so much to the amazement of the visit. This was money was very well spent. Besides his expertise, the skipping of the bulk of the lines and then having someone to efficiently and expertly guide our route through this landscape was what made this a pleasant experience, despite the massive crowds seen here and most historical tourist are of the world. We visited the Colosseum 40 years ago and there were literally fewer than 100 other tourists there at the time. While, that was wonderful, this experience was richer and Farmer educational because of the deep knowledge and interest of our guide, despite literally 50 times more people. Very highly recommended.

We had truly enjoyed this wonderful tour! The guides were friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and patient. On a very hot day, they got our small group thru the crowds and security process with great efficiency and care. The headsets were awesome too🤗 Thank you for making our vacation even more enriching memorable and fun!

Great tour with Francesca. Very informative and hit the highlights. Would recommend. Francesca made sure we had enough time for photos and stopped at the best locations for them.

This was *exactly* what I was looking for: someone who'd help me "see" and understand the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill! I highly recommend this tour. The Walks guide kept me engaged, filled in the blanks, and provided helpful visuals. In addition, we had special access to the second level at the Colosseum, and we didn't have to wait in line entering the Hill/Forum. Everything was very well organized. Maria Grazia was a fantastic guide! She was so knowledgeable and passionate about Rome's history, language and culture. I learned soo much! I also enjoyed her wry humour and appreciated her generosity of spirit. P.s. I'd suggest putting a tiny snack in your pocket for the last hour.

My husband and I enjoyed our Small-Group Colosseum Tour with Roman Forum & Palatine Hill with Walks of Italy. Even in March, the attractions were crowded, and we appreciated the small group experience. Our guide was friendly and passionate about her city, and took us to all the highlights. We learned so much and felt like we saw it all. We were given time to take pictures at several optimal photo stops during the tour. Be advised, the tour includes lots of stairs, many of which are at awkward angles, and walking distances and inclines that can be challenging. It was great, but be prepared for a workout.

Everything was absolutely amazing!! From the history to our tour guide, we enjoyed every moment of it. For us, Gigi, our tour guide is what made it amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and through. 10/10!!

Julia was our tour guide and she was fantastic… just the right pace, lots of interesting things we hadn’t known about, funny, kind, just the best.

Our tour guide was fantastic! (I believe it was Stephanie-Canadian but has lived in Rome for 10 years). She shared so much factual information with our small group but kept it interesting and entertaining. Definitely worth the money.

We enjoyed our tour of the colosseum, the Roman forum and palatine Hill with Francesca. She was a very good guide, she was knowledgeable and warm and welcoming, caring and friendly. We learned a lot on the tour and the facts shared were relevant and interesting. The only disappointment was that we would have liked to spend a bit more time in the colosseum and specifically inside at the main floor and looking at the area. A lot of information was given before that in other areas and showing pictures in a book and it would have been nicer for us to have these things pointed out while we were looking at them. We only had a few moments in the arena area to take photos. Other than that it was good and I would still recommend the tour. There was more time spent in the forum than the colosseum, but that was quite interesting and we would never have been able to work out that part without a guide. Overall a good tour, some tweaks could make it better.
