Driving
From I-20, take the exit for AL-281. Follow AL-281 south, also known as the Talladega Scenic Drive, towards Cheaha State Park. The park is located at 19644 AL-281, Delta, AL 36258. Once inside Cheaha State Park, follow Cheaha Road, which is well-marked with signs. Continue past the Cheaha State Park Lodge for approximately 3.5 miles. The parking area for the Cheaha Scenic Lookout will be on your right, a short walk from the lookout point. Note that there is a park entrance fee of $5 per vehicle for adults (12 and older), $2 for children (ages 4-11) and seniors (62+ with ID). Children 3 and under, as well as active military and veterans (with ID), are free.

Public transportation to Cheaha State Park is limited. If arriving by bus to a nearby town like Talladega, arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Cheaha State Park (approximately $40-$60). From the park lodge, follow signs to Cheaha Scenic Lookout, about a 0.5-mile walk with some elevation changes.
