Getting There

• Public Transit

Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Old Shell Road & University Blvd. Here, transfer to the Route 7 bus towards the Battleship Parkway. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at the stop near USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park, located at 2703 Battleship Pkwy. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the park.

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 'USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park' at 2703 Battleship Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36602. The drive from downtown Mobile typically takes around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to confirm the address with your driver before departing.

Follow the bike path that leads you towards the Bankhead Tunnel. After crossing the tunnel, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Battleship Parkway. Turn left onto Battleship Parkway and continue cycling until you reach the memorial park entrance. The total distance is approximately 6 miles, and the ride should take about 30-40 minutes.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, begin at the Mobile Civic Center. Head south on Water Street towards Government Street, then turn left onto Government Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street, and then left onto Battleship Parkway. Follow Battleship Parkway for about 2.5 miles until you arrive at USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. Be prepared for a walk of approximately 1 hour.
