Discover more about Museum of Wonder Drive Thru

The Museum of Wonder Drive Thru, located in the small town of Seale, Alabama, is a unique and eccentric roadside attraction. Created by artist and collector Butch Anthony in 2014, it's recognized as the world's first drive-thru art and antique gallery. This unusual museum is an offshoot of Anthony's original Museum of Wonder and was designed to accommodate the growing number of visitors. The Drive-Thru Museum is constructed from stacked shipping containers with large display windows cut into the sides. As you slowly drive through the open-air gallery, you'll encounter a myriad of oddities, folk art, and antiques, many of which were collected or created by Anthony himself. Exhibits include everything from two-headed ducklings and taxidermied animals to bone art, found-object sculptures, and his signature "Intertwangleism" pieces – old portraits overlaid with skeletal drawings. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the Museum of Wonder Drive Thru provides an accessible and engaging art experience for everyone. Visitors are encouraged to leave a donation to support the museum's operation. It's a memorable and quirky stop for road trippers and art enthusiasts alike.
