Getting There

• Walking

  Skanderbeg Square is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from most points in downtown Tirana. From the National Art Gallery, walk north along Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, and the square will be directly ahead. From Rinia Park, head west, crossing the main road to reach the square. No costs are involved.

• Public Transport

  Tirana's public buses provide access to Skanderbeg Square from various parts of the city. Many bus lines stop near the square, particularly on the northern and eastern edges. From Tirana East Gate, take bus line 2 or 8 and ask the driver to be let off near Skanderbeg Square. A single bus fare is 40 Lek.

• Taxi

  Taxis are readily available throughout Tirana and offer a convenient way to reach Skanderbeg Square. A short taxi ride from the Tirana East Gate to Skanderbeg Square typically costs between $15 - $19. From the main train station, a taxi to the square will cost approximately $5-$7.

• Parking

  If driving, underground parking is available at Skanderbeg Square. Look for the entrance on the square's perimeter. Parking fees vary, but expect to pay around 100 Lek per hour. Street parking may also be available, but it can be limited and subject to parking regulations.
