Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Patos, head northeast on Rruga Gjon Buzuku towards Rruga Luli Lako. Continue straight until you reach a small roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rruga 28 Nentori and follow it for about 1 kilometer. You will come to a junction; turn left onto Rruga Pojan. Continue on this road for approximately 3 kilometers, passing through a small village. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Bunker di Apollonia. The bunker is located in Pojan, right before you enter the archaeological site of Apollonia. The exact coordinates are 40.7249931, 19.4749145.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Patos city center and follow the same route as for walking. Head northeast on Rruga Gjon Buzuku, and take the second exit at the roundabout onto Rruga 28 Nentori. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction and turn left onto Rruga Pojan. The journey will be quicker on a bicycle, taking about 15-20 minutes, and you will have the added benefit of enjoying the scenery along the road. Keep an eye out for the directional signs to Bunker di Apollonia.

• Public Transport

  While public transport options may be limited, check for local minibus services from Patos to Pojan. If available, catch a minibus from the main bus station in Patos heading towards Pojan. Make sure to ask the driver or the conductor to let you know when to get off at a stop near Bunker di Apollonia. Once you arrive in Pojan, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the bunker, following the signs towards the archaeological site.
