Follow this road for approximately 15 minutes, enjoying the local scenery. You will pass by some local shops and small food stalls. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the area of Sandy Ground. Look for signs directing you towards the Road Salt Pond, which is located a short walk away from the main road. The pond is situated slightly to the east of Sandy Ground Beach, marked by lush vegetation and a sandy shoreline.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Island Harbour Beach and cycle west along the coast towards Sandy Ground. This route is scenic and relatively flat. After about 10 minutes of cycling, you will reach the main intersection in Sandy Ground. Continue straight, and soon you will see a sign for Road Salt Pond. It is located approximately 5 minutes further down this road. The bike ride is enjoyable and provides great views of the surrounding area, especially as you approach the pond.
