From Codrington, head towards the main road, which is the A1. Follow the A1 north until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to St John's. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers. As you approach St John's, look for signs directing you towards Fort James. Turn left onto the road that leads to Fort James, and follow the signs until you arrive at the fort.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus terminal in Codrington. Look for a bus or minivan heading towards St John's. Get on the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to Fort James. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, walk towards the coast and look for signs directing you to Fort James. It's a short walk from the drop-off point.

If you are renting a bicycle in Codrington, start by heading north on the main road, A1. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout, where you'll take the second exit towards St John's. Follow the road for approximately 15 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs for Fort James and turn left onto the road leading to the fort. You’ll be able to park your bicycle near the entrance.
