Start at the center of English Harbour, near the Nelson's Dockyard. From there, head east along Dockyard Drive. Continue until you reach the intersection with the main road, which is Sir George Walter Highway. Carefully cross the road and take the path on your right heading towards Falmouth Harbour. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout at Falmouth Harbour. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A1 road towards Pares. Look for a bus stop where public minivans frequently stop. Board a minivan heading towards St. John's and inform the driver you are going to Betty's Hope Historic Sugar Plantation. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the plantation. From there, follow the signs to Betty's Hope, which is a short walk away.

Begin your journey at the center of English Harbour. Locate the main bus stop near the Nelson's Dockyard. Catch a minivan that says 'St. John's' on its front. Make sure to let the driver know you want to get off at Betty's Hope. The ride should take about 30 minutes. When you arrive at the stop closest to the plantation, disembark and follow the signs to the historic site which is about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point.
