The Museum of Fine Arts Outdoor, better known as Caminito, is a vibrant street museum in La Boca, Buenos Aires, celebrated for its colorful houses and rich cultural history. Once a railway route and before that a stream, it was transformed in the 1950s into an open-air museum by local artist Benito Quinquela Martín, becoming a symbol of Argentine identity.

If you are in La Boca, Caminito is easily accessible by foot. From the intersection of Av. Almirante Brown and Calle Magallanes, head south on Calle Magallanes for about 5 minutes. The museum is located at Magallanes 802, where you'll see colorful buildings and lively street art. The walk itself is an enjoyable experience.

Public Transport
From downtown Buenos Aires, take bus 152 to its last stop. From there, walk straight for two blocks with the river on your left to reach Caminito. Alternatively, many other bus lines, such as 8, 20, 25, 29, 33, 46, 53, 64, and 86, also serve La Boca. A Sube card is required for public transport. Bus fares range from $25-28 ARS.
