From Cerro Tronador, head west on Route 40 (Ruta 40) towards the town of El Bolsón. Continue on Route 40 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 225. Turn left onto Route 225 and follow the signs towards Ensenada. After about 20 kilometers, you will reach the town of Ensenada, where you can stop for supplies if needed. Continue on Route 225 for another 12 kilometers until you reach the intersection with V-69. Turn right onto V-69, which leads you into Cochamó. Follow V-69 for approximately 15 kilometers, and you will arrive at Puente Petrohue, a picturesque bridge located over the Petrohué River. Note that parking may be available nearby.

From Cerro Tronador, you can take a bus to El Bolsón. Buses leave from the main terminal several times a day. Once you arrive in El Bolsón, transfer to a bus heading towards Ensenada.
