If you are driving, start by heading to the town of Ensenada, located approximately 60 kilometers (about 1.5 hours) from Puerto Varas. From Ensenada, take Route 225 towards the south. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Ruta 225-CH. Turn left onto this road and continue for about 19 kilometers until you arrive at the entrance to Valle Cochamó, which will be on your right. The road leading to Valle Cochamó is well-marked, and you will see signs indicating the entrance. Be prepared for some unpaved sections of the road as you approach the valley.

Public Transportation
To reach Valle Cochamó by public transportation, start in Puerto Varas. From the main bus terminal, take a bus to Ensenada. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Ensenada, you will need to catch a local bus or a shared taxi heading towards Cochamó. These may not run as frequently, so check the schedule in advance, or you may need to arrange a pickup. The final leg of the journey will involve a short taxi ride from the main road to the entrance of Valle Cochamó, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Make sure to confirm the cost of the taxi before starting the ride.
