Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Havasu Falls, start by heading northwest on Havasupai Way toward the Havasupai Reservation. After about 1 mile, turn left onto AZ-66 W. Continue on AZ-66 W for approximately 34 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89A. Turn right onto US-89A N and drive for about 46 miles. You will see signs for Le Fevre Overlook along the way. The overlook is located on your right side, where you can pull over and enjoy the scenic views.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options to Le Fevre Overlook are limited. From Havasu Falls, you may need to arrange a shuttle service to reach the nearest town with public transportation, such as Peach Springs or Williams. From there, you can take a Greyhound bus or a similar service towards Fredonia. Once in Fredonia, you will need to arrange for local transportation or a taxi to reach Le Fevre Overlook, which is approximately 10 miles from the center of Fredonia along US-89A.

• Hiking

  For the adventurous, you can hike to Le Fevre Overlook from the area near Havasu Falls. This requires planning and preparation for a backcountry hike. Start from Havasu Falls and head towards the nearest trail leading to the canyon. Ensure you are equipped with a map, sufficient water, and gear. The hike is strenuous and could take several hours, so it’s recommended only for experienced hikers.
