Getting There

  • Car

    If you are already in Kaibab National Forest and have access to a car, head southeast on AZ-67 S towards Grand Canyon Village. After approximately 25 miles, you will arrive at Grand Canyon Village. Once you reach the village, follow the signs for the Grand Canyon South Rim. Continue on South Entrance Road until you reach the Grand Canyon National Park entrance. There is an entrance fee of $35 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. After entering the park, follow the signs to the Desert View Drive. Moran Point is located along this drive, approximately 15 miles from the entrance. Look for the designated parking area near Moran Point.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are relying on public transportation, you can take the Grand Canyon Shuttle bus from the Grand Canyon Village. The shuttle services are free and connect various points within the park. Board the Orange Route shuttle, which goes to the East Rim. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance, as it operates seasonally. Get off at the Moran Point stop.
