  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    If you are starting from the Mesa Arts Center, head to the nearest light rail station, which is located at Main St and Center St. Board the light rail heading west towards Phoenix. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Encanto / 10th Ave' station. After disembarking, walk north on 10th Ave for about 0.3 miles until you reach Central Ave. Turn right (north) on Central Ave and walk for about 0.5 miles. The Heard Museum will be on your left at 2301 N Central Ave.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    From the Mesa Downtown transit center, take Bus 30 towards Phoenix. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop near Central Ave and McDowell Rd. From there, walk north on Central Ave for about 0.2 miles. The Heard Museum will be on your right at 2301 N Central Ave.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the downtown Mesa area, you can also walk to the Heard Museum. Head west on Main St until you reach Mesa Dr, then turn right and continue to the light rail station. Once you reach the light rail station, you can board the train heading towards Phoenix and follow the instructions for the light rail transit above.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Mesa to Phoenix. Start by heading west on Main St and continue straight until you reach the bike lanes on Central Ave. Follow Central Ave north until you reach the Heard Museum at 2301 N Central Ave. The ride will take about 45 minutes depending on your speed.
