    From the Arkansas State Capitol building at 500 Woodlane St, head southeast on Woodlane Street for one block, then turn left onto Capitol Avenue. The Arkansas State Archives will be on your right at 1 Capitol Mall #215, a short 10-minute walk. There are no costs associated with walking.

    If you're near a Central Arkansas Transit Authority (CATA) bus stop, take Route 4 towards the downtown area. Get off at the 'Capitol Avenue & 2nd Street' stop. From there, walk east on Capitol Avenue for two blocks until you reach the Arkansas State Archives at 1 Capitol Mall #215. A single ride on the CATA bus is $1.25.

  • Car

    From I-630, take the exit for 2nd Street, which leads to Capitol Avenue. Continue on Capitol Avenue and turn left onto South Broadway Street. The Arkansas State Archives is located at 1 Capitol Mall #215 on your right. Limited street parking is available. Metered parking along Capitol Avenue and 4th Street is available.
