The Arts & Science Center is located at 701 S Main St in downtown Pine Bluff. If you are already in the downtown area, walking is a convenient option. From the intersection of Main Street and 2nd Avenue, walk south on Main Street for about five blocks. The ASC will be on your left.

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas (ASC), located in downtown Pine Bluff, has been a cornerstone of the region's cultural landscape since 1968. Beginning as the Civic Center Arts Museum, it broadened its scope to encompass performing arts, science exhibits, and educational programming, becoming a hub for a ten-county area. Today, the ASC stands as a dynamic institution, offering a diverse array of experiences in its 22,000-square-foot facility.The center features four galleries that showcase a variety of art, including works by local, regional, and international artists. The permanent collection emphasizes African-American artists, Arkansas artists, and artists from the South, reflecting the region's cultural heritage. Rotating science exhibits and year-round classes engage children and adults alike, making learning interactive and fun. The Catherine M. Bellamy Theater, with 232 seats, hosts community theater productions, concerts, and other performances.Beyond its exhibits and performances, the ASC is committed to education, offering classes, workshops, and camps for all ages. The ARTSpace on Main, a satellite facility, provides additional gallery and workshop space, further expanding the center's reach. With free gallery admission and a range of programs, the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is a welcoming destination for all.
