    From Little Rock, take I-430 to Exit 9, about a mile south of the Arkansas River. Follow the signs to Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Once inside the park, follow the main road to the West Summit Trail parking area. Parking is free. Be aware that parking can be limited, especially on weekends.

    From the West Summit parking area, the trailhead is located near the middle of the picnic area, almost across from the restrooms. Look for the sign marking the start of the West Summit Trail. There are no additional fees to access the trail.

The West Summit Trail is a 1.5-mile out-and-back hike that ascends Pinnacle Mountain, a prominent peak in Pinnacle Mountain State Park.
