Getting There

  • Shuttle

    From March to November, the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive is only accessible via the free Zion Canyon Shuttle. The shuttle departs from the visitor center and makes nine stops along the canyon, providing access to popular trailheads and attractions. Shuttles arrive every few minutes. No tickets or reservations are needed. Park entrance fees still apply.

  • Walking

    The Zion Canyon Visitor Center is located near the park's south entrance in Springdale. If you are staying in Springdale, you can walk to the park entrance and then to the visitor center. Alternatively, use the free Springdale Shuttle (town shuttle), which stops at nine locations in town and drops off visitors at the park's pedestrian entrance at Zion Canyon Village. From there, it's a short walk to the visitor center. The Springdale Shuttle is free.

  • Driving

    If arriving by car during non-shuttle season, you can drive directly to the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. However, parking is limited and fills up quickly, especially during peak hours. If the visitor center parking is full, park in the town of Springdale and ride the free town shuttle to the park entrance. Parking in Springdale costs $5 per hour or $15 for the whole day. Keep in mind that overnight occupancy of vehicles is not allowed in paid parking areas. Park entrance fees also apply: $35 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
