Starting from the center of Alaverdi, head south on Tigran Mets Street towards the intersection with Vahram Papazyan Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Vahram Papazyan Street and continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the main road (H-4). Cross the road and head towards the Alaverdi Train Station. From the train station, follow the signs that point toward the Surb Hovhannes Monastery Complex, which is located approximately 2 km from the station. You will walk along a dirt path that leads you through the scenic countryside. The monastery will be visible on a hill as you get closer.
