Getting there

Public Transport (Bus)

From Tsaghkadzor, walk to the main bus station located near the center of town. Look for the bus heading to Yerevan or Garni. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Garni stop. Once you arrive at the Garni bus stop, you can walk towards Garni Gorge, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs that lead you to the gorge, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Walking

If you prefer to hike, start from the center of Tsaghkadzor and head towards the direction of Garni. The distance is approximately 20 km. Follow the road leading out of Tsaghkadzor, and head towards Garni. This route will take you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. After about 5-6 hours of walking, you will reach the Garni area. Once you arrive in Garni, follow the signs to Garni Gorge.

Taxi

If you would like a quicker option, you can hire a taxi from Tsaghkadzor to Garni. Negotiate the fare beforehand, and the ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Garni, the taxi driver can drop you off at the entrance to Garni Gorge, which is accessible by foot. Enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the gorge.
