Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey from the center of Dilijan, near the Dilijan Visitor Center. Head southwest on Ashot Yerevantsi street towards the main square. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Myasnikyan Street. Turn left onto Myasnikyan Street and follow it until you reach the edge of Dilijan National Park. From here, you will likely find marked trails leading towards Maymekh Lerr. Follow the trail signs and keep an eye on your map or GPS, as the peak is located at coordinates 40.6986111 latitude and 44.9058333 longitude. The hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace, but the scenic views are well worth it.

• Hiking

  If you prefer a more adventurous route, begin at the Dilijan National Park entrance near the old Dilijan Monastery. Take the marked hiking trails towards Maymekh Lerr. The trails are well-maintained but can be steep in some areas, so wear appropriate footwear. This route will take you through beautiful forests and offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It may take around 2 to 3 hours to reach Maymekh Lerr, depending on your hiking speed.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle in Dilijan and head towards the Dilijan National Park. Take the road leading to the park and then look for bike-friendly trails that head towards Maymekh Lerr. The ride can be challenging due to elevation changes but offers a unique way to experience the area. Make sure to map out your route in advance, as some trails may be less maintained than others.
