Getting There

  • Car

    From Oranjestad, take Route 7 towards Arikok National Park. Once inside the park, follow the main road until you see signs for the Rooi Tambu Trail. Look for the marked trail entrance on your right. Note that a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for navigating the park's terrain. There is a conservation fee of $22 USD for adults to enter Arikok National Park. Children 17 and under are free.

    If you are already within Arikok National Park, start from the Visitor Center. Follow the main paths until you see signs pointing towards Rooi Tambu. The trail is well-marked. Remember to bring water and wear sturdy shoes. Note that there is a conservation fee of $22 USD for adults to enter Arikok National Park. Children 17 and under are free.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available from the hotel zone. Ask the driver to take you to the Arikok National Park entrance, San Fuego entrance. From there follow the 'Car' guidance to the Rooi Tambu Trail. The taxi fare from the high-rise hotel area to Arikok National Park is approximately $31 USD. There is a conservation fee of $22 USD for adults to enter Arikok National Park. Children 17 and under are free.
