Getting There

  • Car

    From Eagle Beach, head northeast on J.E. Irausquin Blvd. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto L.G. Smith Blvd (Route 1). After about 3 kilometers, turn left onto route 7. Continue on Route 7 for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road to Bushiribana. Follow the signs to Bushiribana Gold Smelter. You will find parking available near the site.

    Take a bus from Eagle Beach towards Oranjestad. You will need to board a bus that goes towards the main bus terminal in Oranjestad. Once you arrive at the terminal, transfer to a bus heading toward Noord. Inform the driver that you are going to Bushiribana Gold Smelter or check the route map for stops. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the Bushiribana area. From there, you may have to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the smelter site, as public transportation may not take you directly to the entrance.
